在浓厚的中古世纪气息覆盖下，集死亡金属元素、古典管弦乐成份和民族乐背景的Haggard，是一个拥有固定团员16人，常任团员接近20人的名副其实的“古典金属乐团”。在90年代中后期的金属圈，Haggard这个名字就是哥特、死亡金属和古典音乐融合的代名词。这不是许多乐团那样仅仅借用一下钢琴、键盘来渲染气氛，而是满荷“重装武器”的全力出击。
德国的Haggard同样是一支古典化相当深的乐团，其成员包含管弦乐手竟达到近二十人，厚重的Death Metal与高雅的管弦乐、声乐女音巧妙地融为一体，音乐充满着浓郁的中古世纪气息与民族味，编曲极度引人入胜。歌词:
