colby o'donis 于1989，3月14日生于美国纽约，有着波多黎各血统。在colby 3岁的时候，父母发现了他的音乐才能，当时colby正在才艺表演上演唱michael jackson的一首歌曲，只有19岁的小才子，年纪轻轻就已经成为Hip-Hop天皇Akon的秘密武器了，可以看出Akon有多么重视他。成名之前曾为诸多知名艺人暖场包括：JoJo, B-5, Backstreet Boys,Brian McKnight, 98°和N'Sync.后来更是参加了大牌中的大牌演出。
从排行榜的位置来看。大家对What You Got反应不错。Akon演唱的部分很少 Colby O’Donis开始为Rihanna，Omarion，Keisha Cole, 112, Montel Jordan, Daddy Yankee, Bad Boys, B-5, Don Omar, Akon, Bobby Valentino , Ne-Yo等艺人演出做开场表演。并且和akon的公司签下了6张录音室专辑的合约，在接下来的几个月里，他还将会跟随akon去欧洲巡演。
